Beautifully Giddy

This was a quick tag I made for someone who just needed a boost. So often we meet precious lives who just want to know we want to see them be successful.

I used a large tag and embossed such using the Cuttlebug Script folder. Stickles were added to the script to create a highlight. I then highlighted the words with 3 different colors of Tim Holtz Distress Ink colors.

I used the Tim Holtz Butterflying Bigz die to die cut the butterflies at the bottom of the tag. I used the I-rock tool to add crystals in selected places.

The flowers are from Prima.

The sprays were added because they were fun and added pazzaz.

The paper is from Bo Bunny and the female image from Graphic 45. The small butterflies were cut using DCWV Cafe Mediterranean paper.

The sticker is from (oops, I can't remember).

Enjoy, Kiki

Time Flies Like Music (Layout 8 of 12)

Time Flies Like Music is really about me using Pink Paislee paper and my new markers. I just received some ShinHan Art markers from Korea and I am learning how to color.  YouTube serves great utility in learning how to blend colors. This is my first attempt with this Greeting Farm image. "Time Flies" wood tag, rhinestone bling, and flowers are by Prima.

The ribbon used is by American Crafts and tear drop pearls were used at the bottom to give visual interest.

Tim Holtz "Butterflies" Sizzix border dies was used to accent the side of the layout. I then added highlighted the image using a Tim Holtz stamp pad. Dew drops were added from Recollections were added for fun.

Thanks for your time. Enjoy!

Trust Love (Layout 7 of 12)

This was a fun layout because I got to use some new scrapbook toys. One being the Prima Bicycle at the bottom of the layout. The second new item is the water pail and third a new embossing folder by Stampin-Up. I love that the folder that says "Love" is being held in place by some beautiful gray-brown lace trim and the pocket comes out so a picture can be matted to the green background.

 Enjoy, Kiki

Friends Card

I thought it was a great day to make a card. I mostly used a My Minds Eye paper...with the exceptions of two small pieces of paper (light blue - DCWV and the one with the flowers (don't remember the name =( ).

The "friends" embellishment is from Making Memories. A Martha Stewart punch was used on the edge of the yellow pooka dot paper.

Flowers and leaves are Prima.

The sprays are beautiful and well made. *I'm not telling - hehe.

I used a spellbinder die to cut around the image. I then accented the cut with a Tim Holtz stamp pad ink. I highlighted the hair with Ranger Stickles.

I used Ranger Glossy Accents on her jacket, earrings and stitches on her hat. Brads were used on all four corners of the second matting.

Thanks for taking time out of your day to look at the images.

Hugs, Kiki

Copic Marker Storage - Shinhan Marker Storage

Hi everyone. I am really excited to show you my marker storage unit. Formally called "Copic Marker Retailor Storage".

I saw this unit but few pictures existed showing a side view.

There were also few pictures illustrating storage for other popular markers.

I decided to purchase the unit and see if my Shinhan Art Touch Markers would fit.

THEY DO!!!!!

Dare I say, this is a picture of pure marker beauty.

And look, I am actually using my markers on this Greeting Farm Image. Hugs, Kiki

Cherish Falling in Love (Layout 6 of 12)

Cherish Falling in Love is accented by Prima flowers and accented by vellum accents.

I used a Making Memories tag to accent the center of the flower. The flower is 3 Prima flowers that have been Smoocth Spritz to develop a deeper yellow.
The index card is accented with Making Memories rub-ons.

I placed a Prima flower on a ribbon buckle to draw our eyes to the words "cherish."

Prima Say it in pearls frames the center of the layout and black lace highlights the white background of this layout. So much to enjoy and take into our conceptual frame.

Enjoy, Kiki

Absolutely Delightful (Layout 5 of 12)

Absolutely Delightful is about a scrapbooker trying to stretch her imagination. There are so many conflicting ideas and illusions in this layout. I think it really represents an upcoming change.

Enjoy, Kiki
